I had the privilege of working on the brand style-guide, storyboard and playbill for Moment Factory’s new show in Hong Kong, Soul of the Ocean.
Introducing Soul of the Ocean, a one-of-a-kind immersive spectacle created by Montreal-based, award-winning multimedia studio, Moment Factory. You will be captivated by a colourful journey of friendship and discovery as the show reveals a timeless tale, celebrating nature in all its wonder. Meet the mysterious Lagoon Keepers who in their nightly rituals summon Animo, an ancient spirit that awakens within the heart of Ocean Park’s Aqua City Lagoon.

3. SYMBOLISM - BRAND IMAGE
The Soul of the Ocean is a title that communicates both the ethos of the experience and the name given to the protagonist: a shapeshifting life-force that embodies all living creatures.
The logo design reflects the show’s playfully mysterious aura. When you look closely, you see one spirited eye, the one consistent characteristic of the charmingly enigmatic creature, peeking out from behind a friendly typeface. As with the under-water stage, the logo has water on either side. Two short, choppy waves that echo the rhythmic exuberance of the experience.
