Sometimes we don’t realize something is broken until someone fixes it. The world was ready for the solutions this new service would offer and our challenge was to create a brand that would convey this at a glance. From naming, branding personality, campaign connecting and design, we fashioned an all-new brand that did more than just look like the long awaited light-weight, waste-free, community-minded fair alternative. Welcome to Fizz.

PLEASE NOTE! I was part of the original 5-person creative team (and the only anglophone on board) who launched this brand from scratch. That's right, from scratch; we pitched the brand identity, name, tone and the whole kit and caboodle for an entirely new company. Then, we were fortunate enough to proceeded to work directly with the client, all-day-every-day to launch their new baby. It was obviously an incredibly comprehensive learning opportunity and a fully immersive 360 experience like no other.

 Fizz mobile has arrived!

My team and I had the unique opportunity to conceive an entirely new brand from scratch, and Fizz is what bubbled up. The client requested English-first branding, so as the sole English writer on my team, I worked with the client directly to develop the brand language and personality; I wrote the style guide book, the brand manifesto, concepted campaigns, the website copy, social media posts and digital banners—the works! I also had the chance to collaborate with some brilliant designers and the client’s Ui Ux software developers to ensure a cohesive user experience.

The brand: Fizz is a new digital mobile and internet telecommunications provider with a fresh DIY-style approach that puts the customer in charge.


The challenge: The team faced three main challenges while developing the global brand: creating something sufficiently different to catch consumers’ attention, while remaining user-friendly in order to truly facilitate the consumer experience, all while being universal enough to reach digital lovers regardless of their age or socio-demographic profile.


The solution: We created a smart and playful brand by using bold colours and playful imagery to inject a little bit of fun and humanity in the world of telecommunications.
